Batch-Dispense Systems

A Batch-Dispense System (BDS) can produce smaller-quantity single- or plural-component materials (from 1 pint to 5 gallons at a time), accurately dispensed according to "recipe" mix-ratios. Pulled from materials' original 5- or 55-gallon containers, systems can be engineered and installed into a room or even a portable, explosion-proof container.

Benefits include: computerized measurements for accurate, instant dispenses, multiple "colors" and coatings can be disipensed with ease, VOC tracking and data reporting ability can be added for environmental friendliness, reduced hazardous paint waste can greatly reduce costs.

Plural-Component Systems

Today's high-solids epoxies, urethanes, polyurethanes or polyurea coatings are notorious for being difficult to spray and to maintain their strict mix ratios. AFS has this problem solved with custom-engineered systems that can be installed either in-plant or with mobile/portable solutions. This brings tremendous value to the ship building, pipeline fabrication, tank coating, off-shore maintenance, chemical oil or gas, fire-proofing and insulation industries as well as the water and waste water treatment and storage industries.

Procor®-Application Equipment

AFS offers a 2.5:1 modified Procor System that is designed specifically to apply "Procor Applied Waterproofing." The feed system, designed to draw from original Procor-V containers, feeds a fixed 2.5:1 ratio formulator. The uniform ratio of material is then moved through a custom hose set to the spray gun where the material is mixed to produce a consistent, uniform spray pattern. The entire system is designed for easy, dependable application.

Adhesive Proportioning Systems

AFS provides a wide variety of off-the-shelf and custom equipment solutions for dispensing either single or 2 component sealants and adhesives. Greases, acrylics, potting compounds, caulking compounds, epoxy, PVC sealers, silicones, urethanes and inks, all difficult-to-dispense materials, can now be applied with ease.

Typical applications include: transferring highly viscous materials to multiple dispense stations, filling of drums, pails or caulking tubes, feeding high volume applications, multiple meters or proportioners, small manufacturing work cells, and industrial workbench applications.
