Easy-to-Use for Maximum Performance

The Binks Equalizer System provides superior accuracy for pumping, metering and mixing systems designed to apply acid-catalyzed wash coats, sealers and top coats used in wood furniture finishing. Ideal for high production environments, the Equalizer System offers a panel mounted pneumatic catalyst alarm and mix manifold, a ratio check assembly and base material recirculation capability. This system comes in wall and cart mounted units that are 90% pre-assembled.

Binks Equalizer™ Systems are two-component pumping, metering, and mixing systems designed to apply the acid-catalyzed wash coats, sealers, and top coats used in wood furniture finishing. Binks Equalizer™ is
capable of adjusting catalyst ratios from .75 to 7%, with operating pressures up to 1,000 psi( 68 bar ). Mixed material is flushed from the system through the mix manifold in one step using less solvent than other tanks.

Operation is simple:
• Catalyst pump is mechanically linked to the base material pump via a "slave arm" for ratio adjustment
• Motion of the base material pump is matched stroke-for-stroke by the catalyst pump
• Catalyst pump stroke length and output are determined by position on the slave arm
• Materials dispensed by each positive displacement pump are mixed at equal
pressures via fluid shearing in a mix manifold
• Materials are further mixed with an 8-inch static mixer
